I'm so so happy and excited to kick off #TakemetoNagaland Web Series on YouTube. It's a project that's currently my heart and soul. Also the reason why I'm seated in a chair for more than 14 hours a day. I started toying with the idea of directing a proper travel based web series (as opposed to vlogs), sometime last year. And I'm waiting to show what I've come up with. So here's a picture from Dzukou Valley to officially tell you the trailer is now live! So I didn't know if you and I were ready for this picture just yet. But then I saw it in my gallery and I think it's about time now that I've recovered from the euphoria and tiredness. . . . This was the exact point when I reached the last village of the trek to Everest Base Camp. This village is called Gorak Shep. What's so great about this picture is, that you see Gorak Shep in my background. You will also be able the see EBC (The fallen snow on the foreground of the mountains on the right side of the picture), even Khumbu Glacier is visible on the right side of the picture. Khumbu Glacier is the world's highest Glacier everybody. In a few hours from this moment, I battled loads of fatigue to reach EBC, and also walked on the glacier. TMI: I also peed at EBC because sudden nature call. But this was all TOO incredible. . . #EBC #EverestBaseCamp
What is this place? Am I on Moon yet? 😍 . . . The best part about a high altitude trek is, the higher you go where the vegetation is low, the more it feels like another planet. This was shot on the 5th day on the way to Dingboche. After this day, I was soon going to start walking amidst some of the tallest peaks in the world. 😍 . . . #EBC #EverestBaseCamp
Everest Base camp day 1: So this picture is from the very first day of the start of my trek in Nepal towards Everest Base camp. I landed at an airport called Lukla, which is one of worlds most dangerous airport. From here we left for Phakding. The views here on this route are amazing! We walk along the Dudh Kosi river the whole time. The valley is green and gorgeous, the weather is pleasant. . . . This is surely a good way of starting off with a gruelling trek. I've started uploading the stories of the whole adventure. So do stay tuned. I'll take a few days to recreate everything. Also, released the last part of Bhutan Vlog yesterday. Dekha?
